Just picked up 2072
New to me 2072, picked it up from the original owner since 1987. Right around 900 hours on the working meter. Included was 60" deck (very clean and quiet), front blade original to the tractor, barely used with original paint and 75lbs wheel weights. He also provided me with the original bill of sale, owners manual and attachments booklet.
Overall its in great shape for being 30 years old starts right up and runs great, little dings, dents and poorly done touch ups over the years, oil leak somewhere towards the top of the motor. Back of the motor is dry but under the intake has some pooling which is obviously running down to the mount plate. Ill have to tear it down to get a better look unless someone has a good idea where to start. Now, I don't know enough about the Onans and Kohlers to know which this is equipped with. I am aware the Onan is pretty rare for a 2072 and based on my research I'm getting conflicting information. Based on my serial number I believe it should have a Onan but others have said the Onan uses a twin muffler, mine only has one which would mean Kohler. :big think: Attached is pictures of the serial and mfg date along with how the stable is looking now with the new addition. Ill attach more pictures later on when I have time. Thanks for any help provided.
