Deck options for older in cubs

Ok I've been all over the web looking for some info on this topic. I have a 1450 I mow with. It's on its 4th 44c deck since my granddad bought it new. Last year the hydro went out and I borrowed my uncles 2185. It mowed great. The tractor sucked at everything else. The 1450 is back up and running again and this deck looks more like a quilt than a deck. Has anyone put a newer deck on the older IH tractors? If so what mods needed done? Thanks!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
