I'm not here to argue the merits of one tire over another but if it were up to me, given the choice between turfs with chains or ag's for a smooth ride, I'd go ag's any day! I have small drives between snow jobs in the winter and I've run ag's, turfs, and turfs with chains and the roughest ride by far is the turfs with chains!

That being said, I use turfs 99% of the time in the winter. I have a set of chains I throw on if it gets icy but otherwise, turfs do it for me (that and I don't want to invest in another set of ag's for my snow machine, I'm kinda cheap like that

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
