1200 steering knuckle question
Earlier this summer I picked up a package pair of 1200's which I am leisurely moving along to refurbing. My question has to do with the positive amount of camber on the front wheels shown in the top and bottom pics below.
I have looked up the parts data and I know there is a above/below break at s/n 632501. Of these two tractors, the one on the left in the pics is below the break, the one on the right is above. The parts data says that 632501 and below has 3/4" spindles and bearings, 632502 and above is 1" spindles and bearings. I have pulled the wheels and everything I have agrees with the parts data. The spindles and bearings and wheels are good on both tractors and nothing is worn or bent. The knuckles and axle appear to be original to the tractor so I can't see why the 1" knuckles are providing so much positive camber. Am I missing something or they supposed to be like this? (p.s. the ground they are sitting on has a slight grade down to the right but is otherwise even)
