My horrible Christmas surprise.

So my QL 1000 has been pretty much completed and engine after service was running like a dream. Well went to start the old girl it had done a little bit of mowing the day before maybe 30 minutes worth, started in pretty much 1 revolution left it idle while i moved stuff out of the way so i could move it, it stalled so hit the key and that horrible sound of a starter that can't crank the engine...ahhh tried to turn engine by hand no such luck..tried with a breaker bar..nope..Seized solid.. Because it ran so well didn't bother with a rebuild. Well back to the expensive drawing board.. Haven't been able to source any rebuild kits this side of the pond. So time to look at the sponsors and the other online source..ebay. Hope everyone's Christmas was lots better.

Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
