Bad Coil?

Can you have spark, yet have a bad coil? The plug is getting fuel, but acts like it is not getting spark, but I have checked the plug grounded on the engine. You can see spark when cranking. When I initially started the 1250 up this morning it hit right off and ran good for 3 or 4 minutes, more than enough time to adjust the hydro neutral setting, then all the sudden the motor coughed then caught and ran good for another 30 seconds or so, then coughed a couple more times then just shut down. Since then I have not been able to get it to start again. I have checked and rechecked the static timing and it is right where it should be. Any ideas?

Yes I have set the carb adjustments per Matt's suggestion.
