Cub cadet 1450
Hello, i have a 1450 cub thats been acting up on me.
I can run it for about an hour n then it quits, it would run after awhile then do the same thing, I put in a new coil, wire, and relocated the coil under dash, it fired righ up and i used it to backblade my driveway for about an hour or so and it was running great, then it quit, just like i turned off the key. So i waited a couple hours and tried to start it again and nothing. I pulled the plug, check for spark, nothing. So i opened up the points, cleaned them up, rolled over and i have spark at points but still nothing at the plug.even tried a different plug wire. I noticed that when i turn the key on, the coil gets really hot to the touch and its not even running, i thought the old coil was getting hot from running it so thats why i changed it. It pretty much did the same thing as the old coil but now i lost spark at the plug. Any ideas? I checked n doublechecked all wires.
