Hi All

I'm a new member and would like to say hello from Minnesota first off.

I'm also new to IH cub cadets as I just bought a really nice shape 127. It came with original service manual and I bought an original operators manual off feebay also. There were some things that needed fixing which I got fixed. I'm in need of a new driveshaft as the pin hole is basically worn oblong as is the coupler pulley but it still works for now.

I fixed everything I thought to get the mower deck running and I got the mule drive belt put on and went to start it and then she wouldn't hardly turn over. Turns out the pto clutch is stuck and the starter generator can't overcome the added drag from turning the deck pulleys. Looks like I need a pto clutch rebuild kit. I've read a bunch on how to do it and it seems fairly straightforward.

Is there a master rebuild kit that includes the pressure plate and both buttons? The button on the tractor side is worn to a nub and needs replacement. Also, has anyone tried an electric clutch like they sell on eBay? Seems the manual pto clutch system on this thing is a little crude.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
