1250 Cub Cadet, steering quit.
Yeah, I was mowing along and the steering just up and quit. Before this, steering was sweet and smooth. We are talking like 5 seconds, left to right, right to left, no steering.
I shut it down and looked underneath, while turning the steering wheel. I saw a triangle shape with a large radius moving back and forth. The hole at the end should have some kind of bolt in it I figure... I will post a photo and "after the photo", a brief history of my 1250 cub cadet knowledge.  O.K., I am a cub cadet year 1979 newbie. Serial #2050630u-656667 I'm 47 years old and have had only lawn tractors since the year 2002. This old tech is new to me, but I like it. I got the 1250 a month ago and replaced the belts on the deck and the mule pulley. This is my second time mowing with it. The carb is bad and many other problems, but those will be subjects of other threads. thank you in advance.
