Hello from WV
Hello all.
I just got my first Cub this past weekend. After looking around I found a 1200 at what I think was a good price. I've attached a couple pictures. I am about to close on 5 acres of land that I plan on building on next spring. I'll use the Cub to keep the land mowed and haul a cart to help clean up some trees and brush. Long term, I'd like to find a larger deck and use it for finish mowing and get a new CUT. But the 1200 will be plenty for now. My first step is to replace the spark plug, air filter and oil. Along with draining and replacing the transmission oil. Also going to grease everything. Starts right up and feels strong. I'm going to try and get a good look at the ISO mounts too. Hopefully they are in decent shape. I welcome any suggestions on other things to check or refresh. I've been browsing around here for a few weeks since I decided that a Cub Cadet was what I needed to fit my needs. These older ones seem so stout and beefy that I can see getting another 40 years out of it easily. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as I go through maintenance and adding attachments. Because what fun is a GT if you don't get attachments  Pardon the green machine in the pic, my son just had to park his tractor next to daddy's
