341 in a narrow frame

Been collecting info for a bit but this is my 1st post here so go easy on me...

About to start restoring my 123 but am VERY seriously considering notching and widening the frame for larger flywheel for one of the following reasons:

- direct engage start from another K301, have complete engine, starter etc from a CC 1200
- upgrading power to K321 or K341 (dont have either yet)

The frame mods are well within my tooling and exp level so not worried about that but I do have a question about a K341 I've found. Will a K341 from a John Deere 316 fit after making the mods to clear the larder fly wheel and such. If the oil pan is different will either of my CC K301s swap. How do I found out about the PTO swaping over?

Lots of questions and I can tell there is a ton of knowledge here so I'm good hands
