1250 steering overhaul and upgrade
Over the next week or so I will be working on the steering on my 1250. After getting this tractor running I have come to the realization that I like it more than my 149. So it will be replacing my 149 as the primary tractor. A little history on the tractor before I start. I bought this tractor as a none runner for the 3 point. I did get it running at one point but engine turned out to be bad. It sat for awhile was going to trade it but the deal fell through so there it sat. And then i came across another 1250 with a bad frame. Moved the engine and hyd lift from the other one to this one and now have nice tractor. I got a set of NOS IH iso mounts for the engine and it just runs so smooth.
So the plan is to install a 3 turn steering wheel and overhaul the steering box. Also an axle from a 1541 GT with some new tires. The pics I have so far.
