I have a 2000 lb Harbor Freight cheap winch ($49.99, Mod #68146) on the way. I want to mount it on a trailer for the occasional time I need to load a tractor or whatever. I plan on mounting it receiver style on the front tongue area of the trailer and powering off a deep cycle boat battery. I also have ideas about doing the same type receiver set up the front of a 1450. With the receiver set up I could move it from the trailer to the tractor when needed. Do you think the battery set up in the tractor could handle the amp draw? For those of you that have this done this before either with a trailer or a tractor, advice, pics, and ideas would be great.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
