Mower deck performance comparison

Since I'm considering a new and larger deck I thought I would ask if anyone can offer a comparison between the various deck styles in how well they do their job against each other.

The drive will be a 149 and I have a 421 U 113 that does a pretty decent job on dry grass, but I have no idea how they work against the 48 or 50 A or C versions. I would expect the later versions have better lift (meaning vacuum) and discharge power, because of the deeper stamping and blade difference.

Would you agree with my assumptions or otherwise?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
