Parts help request

I'm trying to figure out a coupe of bits of information on the following two items for my 149;
1) The Hood latch spring for the right side. Both are missing and the Cub Cadet parts look-up only shows the Left side. For some reason they seem to have overlooked including the Right side in the parts schematic. Does anyone have a part number for this?

Also, I'm interested to know exactly how these mount and if they do a good job. On my 125 I removed the hood altogether because of the rattling. Even with the latches they came with didn't help.

2) For the optional float lock out pin. This too is unavailable but I'm interested in fabricating one up. I would really love to see an image of this part installed if anyone has one.
