128 just spins
Howdy out there in Cub Cadet land,
Question I started one 1 of my 128's today ran like a champ no noticeable problems cut grass, idled fine, giving it gas it throttled up nicely was working and running fantastic. I took a break for lunch when back out within an hour, climbed on, turned the key S/G spun like crazy. The front shaft spun as well as the one coming out the back of the engine. It just spun and spun no normal start-up sounds. I love my Cub but this has me stumped am quite new to the Cub Cadet. I love the wonderful old machines, have two 129's, two 128's, a 149 with a # 2 tiller, and ain't nothing green around here other then the crops weeds and grass!! Now back to the 128 problem never had a problem changed oil used MMO as prescribed it just spins and spins with the belt on the S/G any suggestions or advice, this has been my favorite because it was my first thanks and help will be so much appreciated Thanks John and Sandy from Pittsburgh Penguin country

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
