New Member Question
Hello All,
Recently inherited a 1620 with a bad Electric PTO. Searched ebay and found a used one with a buy it now of 75.00. Was quoted over $300.00 by my local dealer. Seems like a good price, just wondered if there was any knowledge as to whether I can find one cheaper. Before I pose this question let me state that I have used as many search terms as I can think of to find an answer before starting a new thread, so, here goes... when trying to loosen the center bolt on the elec. clutch, what can I use to "back-up" or hold the entire pulley assembly from spinning. On the 1620 this pto is mounted under the engine, above the deck. The gap between top of drive pulley and bottom of frame is too slim for a pipe wrench or channel locks, and the diameter of the drive pulley is too big for anything smaller than a 36" pipe wrench and unfortunately there is not enough room under the tractor to fit a wrench that big. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
