Alright here's a little backstory on this contraption....
So a few years back I had envisioned a mobile bar/ picnic table thing to cruise around at tractor pulls/shows, fairs etc. Well this summer I had picked up a couple 682's from my uncle, one ran (with an onan transplant) and one has a blown up kohler. With the influence of some liquid courage, me and some buddies devised a plan and dubbed it the cub catable. I had made a box frame to mount a table that was originally a bar in my college house and before that was a loft for my bed in my dorm room. (told you there was quite a backstory). The frame was then welded to the front of the 682, and the front axle was attached to the front of the frame. The steering rod was lengthened, and a 1/2 in cable with a turnbuckle was placed from the front to the back to prevent sagging. The finishing touches still need to be done, as in paint and put the side shields and hood back on, also the grill and headlights will be placed on the front on the tractor to provide a somewhat "stock" look. Also dual wheels may be added for stability, but a trial run at a tractor pull proved successful. As seen in the last pic, dad seemed to enjoy it lol.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
