1650 Oil Pan question
Hey guys,
Kinda at a crossroads here. Trying to get my dual hydro 1650 back together. Replacing two isomounts cause the other two were brand new when I bought it. The right engine rail is worn pretty bad. The oil pan on the same side is pretty bad as well. The rail actually was so loose, it wore into the cross member by the front axle.  When the engine was bolted in, it had a noticeable lean to the worn side not caused by the mounts. Now I've been looking in the archives and am having a hard time finding any info. I do remember reading somewhere that the oil pain can be replaced with a cast iron one. It that true? Now the 12, 14, or 16 horse ones would work with the deep sump, correct? Thanks in advance for any help.  Need to replace it with a cast iron one or good aluminum one since I've got it this far apart.
