Cub 1450 - Hydro pulsing.

Hello,
Another question....I took out the fill plug on the back of the rear, and clear hydro fluid came rushing out. I put the plug back in a fast as I could.

When I started it up after that to move it, it was 'pulsing' a little while going very slow.

Did I cause this by letting some fluid out?

Should I jack the back end up and add more?

The fluid seemed nice and clear, and didn't smell bad. PO said it was changed about 75 hours ago.

Should I still replace it and the filter?

Will replacing the fluid make the trans better at climbing hills at slow speeds?
It seems like I always have to open the valve more to climb a hill at slow speeds. Not sure if this is normal. And it doesn't hold a very constant speed while going down hill.
