I had my doubts about this 1450. I thought I had made a mistake selling my wheelhorse and getting it. The Wheelhorse was a 12 hp, this is a 14hp, its got to be better. This winter wasn't bad, but the cub had no where near the bite in the snow that the wheel horse had. I added weight and it improved. I worked on the engine and the hydro and it got better. The last few days I have worked it hard pulling logs and cut firewood up over a 30' creek bank. I am impressed with the power. I don't know if the pics tell the story, but I pulled at least a dozon of those bags full of cut wood up that bank, It strained but did it, I skidded 3 logs 8 to 10 feet long up that bank. Pulled all the cut branches up in bundles with chains wraped around them. The strap you can see is apx 60' long to give you an idea how far I was pulling. I doubt the belt drive of the wheelhorse would of held up. I was was well pleased and impressed with what the tractor did. I don't know if it was the fluid in the tires and the wheel weights, but it has the bite know. Can't wait to see what happens in the snow.
