982 Finally Running WITH PICS !!!
Well many thanks to the members on here, and especially Roland, for all of the help. The tractor is finally running.
Installed a M18 Kohler Magnum in it that was given to me by a friend. Motor was very well taken care of and came out of an 1806. Before I even thought about starting it, I took the carb off and cleaned it out really good and cleaned the fuel tank out and replaced all of the fuel lines. Gave it a little shot of starting fluid and it started right up like it was a daily driver. Still have some work to do though. The ammeter is showing discharge and I cannot figure out what is wrong. I have checked everything and all wiring seems to be right. I am puzzled though that the starter wire shows continuity to ground....but I have given up for the day and needed to take a break from it for a while.
