Chris, mine never threw the belt, the trouble I had was when putting the tiller in the ground. I have it on my 123 and when in solf soil it worked but as I would get into harder soil the tiller would stop moving.
I had the belt tensioner tight as a wire, but it still slipped. Someone on OCC mentioned that my pto was most likely slipping on the tractor. So I rebuilt the power take off and it worked fine.
It was one of those things, it worked sortof, but not. (lot of sputter, for such an easy question)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
