Anyone else having issues with Cub Cadet Specialties? I've ordered from him quite a few times over the last 6-7 years and haven't had any trouble until recently. I placed an order on 4-15 and received everything on 4-28 except for a Belt. I sent an email stating that I received the order minus the Belt and the pick ticket in the box had the belt checked off like it was supposed to have been sent. I received a reply a the same day stating that it was supposed to say Backorder. He had a run on belts and will have more on Friday, it would be sent out then. Understandable.
I placed another order on 4-30, on 5-8 I sent an email saying that I hadn't received any shipping information on the order and I was wondering if there was an issue with my placement of the order. I got the confirmation like normal when I placed the order. I received a reply that same day stating that it had been shipped and shows delivered. I replied saying that it hasn't been delivered to me if it were delivered. No reply, on 5-9 I asked about the status of the belt from the previous order. No reply, On 5-11 I tried calling 4 different times throughout the day and got a full answering machine each time. On 5-11 I then asked for the tracking number of the second order, no reply. Tried calling again on 5-12, Charlie answered the phone. I Started explaining what I was calling about, didn't even get 3 words out and he starts saying "WHAT? WHAT?" When he would finally LISTEN, he asked if I sent an email. I've sent multiple. Gave him the order ID #'s, supposedly now the second order is "lost" in shipping. He's supposed to be checking on it. Still didn't get a tracking number. Says he's waiting on a response from the Post Office. Now it's 2 weeks past placing the second order, and still don't know if it's been shipped, is lost, or nothing has or is going to happen.

I ordered a PTO clutch disc and an adjusting gauge yesterday, received confirmation and tracking info today. So far, so good.
(My stuff is getting shipped via USPS. My own personal experience with USPS over the last few years has been pretty crappy...... It's NOT the post office of my youth! If there is ever a problem with shipping/tracking, their "help" is very lacking. So, maybe..... give CCSpecialties a break.)

It very well could be a Post Office issue, I didn't get a very reassuring feeling when quit responding to messages, answering machine is full and has an attitude from the time he answered the phone. Shipping issue is understandable, I ordered some stuff from another place a while back. Took nearly 2 weeks to get but I knew it was with the shipper and had valid UPS delays. I don't know if this shipment is with a carrier or not.

The quality of Customer Service can sell or not sell a service or product just as strongly as the product itself.

I received my PTO disc and gauge today. USPS came through alright this time, and I got good communications from Cub Cadet Specialties.

Glad you had a positive experience, I left him a message on his answering machine Tuesday. He had cleared it so it was able to take a message. Still no callback or reply to Emails. Yesterday was 3 weeks from the order date. I found the parts I need on Ebay and ordered them, need to get this tractor back going and tired of waiting for no response.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
