Default M18 PTO questions
I have a M18 Kohler from an 1810 (if I remember correctly used oncustom build). Anyway I just replaced the ignition coil and it runs great. The problem now is the PTO runs all the time and makes a squealing noise. It won’t shut off. I even unplugged it and it still runs. I’m assuming the bearings are bad. I never use it and never will so my question is , is it ok to remove it and leave it off?

No problem to remove it, if you don't use it.
And you are right that the bearing is bad.
Hang on to the pto, it can easily be fixed with a new $10.00 bearing.
