I am looking for a reservoir for a cub cadet 1320. I am sure that it fits other tractors as well. The part number that I have seen are 717-3049, 917-3049
and J1742009 N. I am finding them but they cost as much as the tractor is worth. Mine is bad, but I am not sure that a new one will fix my problems. Any pointers? Thanks |

I would first try the sponsors at the top of the page. Houtz has a pretty big boneyard.
If they can't help.... It looks to be a Sunstrand part# 2003084 (SU-2003084 for Cub Cadet). If you type in the SU-2003084 in the parts look-up page it will show your which machines used that part. I tried to do a screen shot but it is too small and you can't read it. Here is a listing that I found on Google. https://www.troybilt.com/en_US/all-p...T_5w2o0F67ckKD That HG part # is a Hydro-Gear part. I would call them to see if they have anything that will work. It looks like at one time this part from HG was about $25.

Thanks for the input. Currently it's not moving. I patched it up with epoxy. Not sure if that will last but it should give me a way to test the transmission.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
