Was looking for a new lift to pick up the front end of SGT's. I have a TSC bought Pro Lift HD (500 lbs. capacity) which worked well with my zero turn mower but flexed quite a bit when I picked up the from the wheels of my 2284 to assist getting the 60 inch deck out.
I was looking at the Mojack Pro with a 750 lbs. capacity. Has anyone ever used a Mojack Pro lift with a Cyclops SGT? If so, is there any issue of the crank/handle hitting the hood/grille? I can't add a link to the jack here with my phone. Open to suggestions for other options also. (Mods: If this is the wrong area please move. Just trying to reach as many viewers as possible) Appreciate any info, Steve

I have two of these. They seem to work well.
http://www.harborfreight.com/440-lb-...rol-60346.html The flyer lists $100+ as the sale price but when I bought the last one, it was on sale in November it was about $60. I use one of them to llift tractors in my shop and the other to hoist parts in the loft of the barn. |

Sam that is an awesome lift but not really helpful when removing deck. I use my front end loader and tow rope to lift up super.

![]() Since these pics were taken I have a new improved design, a set of tire chains that I put around the front wheels and connect to the Bota to lift from the front. Works better but I don't have any pics and I sold the Supers so your out of luck. Chains are for sale now that I have no use for them $10.00 plus shipping.

Wish I had a tractor with a front end loader. And that table would be awesome but no space for that. That electric hoist would be cool but my ceiling space in the shed is quite limited. I got by with this lift but want something a little stronger now.

About 3 years ago dad bought one of the front end lift jacks from Harbor Freight. Complete piece of junk, I took it back. I don't know if they have redesigned it or not. It would not hardly lift a big box store mower let alone an IH built machine and certainly not a super. I have since seen some listed on Craigslist that looked like they would do the job, but were over $200.

Hey Steve, I have the HF electric winch and it works great, even on the super tractor... I can ever put the Haban on alone with it, and I don't "think" you would need much ceiling height to make it work...
If it is a big deal what about mounting it to the wall next to the floor and running a pulley system to your ceiling? Or maybe a winch? Obviously that depends on what you have for a ceiling...

Put the mule drive and lift carriage on the tractor. Raise the carriage to it's highest position. Then just use a floor jack under the front of the mule drive to jack the front of the tractor up. Slide the deck under the tractor and lower the tractor back down. If you have the late style Haban just turn the wheels to the side and roll the deck under. Not all that complicated.

Can't you drive the tractor over the deck?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
