I got a $100 gift card for Amazon for Christmas this year. I spent a couple days trying to figure out what I was going to buy. I was browsing CL and spotted a single Tru Power for $125 about 30-40 mins away. I checked Amazon and they had 1 4 ply in stock for $110, so I ordered it. After, I was looking at my order summary and the "Buy It Again" button was on the screen, so I clicked it. Sure enough it listed the same delivery date, so I ordered another. I think they say the stock is low, so you buy now, because another was available after I ordered the second one.
So the Big Brown truck showed up today! I still need to order my 10.5" rims(PM me if you have a set you don't need). I was looking them over and realized one is the 4 ply I ordered and the other is an 8 ply. I am tempted to order another to get a "matched set" (hopefully they screw up again, and I get another 8 ply). Just curious as to what OCC would do? I am definitely not going to return it! Can you tell which is the 8 ply? ![]() ![]()

The one that's really hard to get on the rim is the 8 ply.

I had actually forgot which one was which at first. One of them has a red stripe just to the left of center. Here is a photo of them switched, this time the red stripe tire is on the right.
I figured out that the first tire I ordered (the one that cost me $10) is the 8 ply. Any one think I should order another one to see what I get?

Getting the 8-ply on the first order and then the 4-ply on the 2nd order virtually immediately after is odd.
I could see them subbing the 8-ply for the second order if the first order was the last 4-ply. But not bass ackwards. |

I can kinda see that, but my orders were literally 5 min apart. The only reason I had to do separate orders is because it said they only had 1 in stock. I think someone just pulled the wrong tire. It says 1 in stock right now too.

LOL, you quoted me and then I edited the post because you said they supplied the 8ply on your first order.
Maybe you got the first "back in stock" 4ply? |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
