Default Cub Cadet 126

I am considering buying it but, I wanted to get some opinions on it first. He wants $450 , but it needs a clutch spring ( he has the spring it just needs to be put on.) It doesn't have the rear lift . Its only a hour drive. Thanks in advance.

Its probably worth 450 having headlights, and those IH hubcaps look to be in decent shape too. But like was said before I would offer less.

Agreed, but you'll be surprised in the value in those hubcaps If in decent shape which they look to be

One of the first lessons that everyone should learn is, BEWARE of those who say "It only needs".

Unless I know the person, I NEVER believe what a seller is telling me. I look at it and use MY OWN judgement, many people either don't know or are trying to scam you.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
