Default God Bless the Cub Army

I needed an arched frame for my new 44" mower and cc_bob came through for me. I love knowing that there are guys out there, like bob, who are willing to endure nasty looks from the wife and complaints from the neighbors over the piles of junk (aka "gold"). Not only was he close but I got the parts for the best price possible. Thanks Bob and God Bless the Cub Army.

Finally got some time to do this and post some pics of the new rides. I have been busy working some of the bugs put of them and in truth, I only took a break today because it started raining. I got the 44 inch mower put on my new 1650 and mowed a little before it rained. It does a great job and leaves a beautifully level lawn. Here are some pics of the new 1450 dual hydro and the 1650 with the 44 inch mower. Think I will work on the attachments (snowblower and power angle plow) tomorrow and maybe make a video later on. I some other videos at my channel http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWTAwtEKZQ5PbLifTrROxLw

Glad to see you got the deck under it, that was quick. Did you end up getting new pulleys from DJM (I buy my belts and steel there too)?

It would appear that you have enough room for at least one more cub there in the garage

I stopped in there just as he was closing and unfortunately they didn't have them. So like any good improviser I cleaned up the old ones and repacked the bearings as best I could. I have been using the old 42 inch mower which has some holes and is pretty loud. The first time i fired up this new one I actually had to look down at the spindles ro make sure they were turning and that the belt wasn't just getting smoked! Everything runs so quiet and I couldn't be happier.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
