My nice pump got it's pulley destroyed in shipping... does anyone know a P/N for a suitable replacement? I've been to the tractor stores with no success yet. Anyone been down this path before on a narrow frame tractor?
Thanks John

I hate it when that happens
got any pics? The two I have I had to straighten the pulleys out, they are not very tough, which I guess keeps it from breaking the pump should it hit something. If yours is too messed up I think a few guys on on here have had to replace them, hopefully they will get you the info you need.

Mine is pretty bent up, both the rim and down at the hub. Picture putting a pump with the bracketry in a box with absolutely NO packaging, and there you go. The rest was OK, but the pulley is destroyed. The seller strung me along JUST long enough so I could not leave any feedback before he returned the pulley to me saying "it's the best I could do". Sadly, I think he's still selling (if you want the name, PM me) . I doubt it's a custom pulley but I was hoping someone has been down this path before John

If you got it on E-bay, then most purchases are covered by Paypal, so if you have contacted the seller and (s)he is not willing to go any further for corrective action, then you can explore that Paypal Protection. If you don't get satisfaction, then you can contact E-bay to allow you a chance to open a case on your seller to recovery damages or in the least, open the feedback for you to make your statement.
Mine, too, arrived damaged despite being packaged in newspaper (bad packaging method) and I was able to straighten it with a hammer. Guess those pulleys are one of the more fragile parts of that unit. Have you tried our sponsors at the top of the page? ![]() Cub Cadet 123

Since you have one to go off of, It may be possible that it will line up close enough with one of the ones on this site... They are pretty cheap. http://www.mcmaster.com/#v-belt-pulleys/=k2b0fs
They have everything

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
