I have over 20 cub cadets and my dad has over 20 farmalls ranging from farmall cubs up to a 706. I also have am farmall H . After my grand father passed I was able to acquire his IH 2 bottom manual lift trailer plow. The tractor and plow get an annual work out at a small plow day event.

Yeah,
Along with the cubs in my sig, I own a 560 Diesel, 1256 Diesel, and a 1206 Wheatland Diesel. I actually started with the bigger tractor back in high school in the early 90's. I'm only down to three big brothers now. Used to own a Farmall Cub, H, early MD, W4, WD6, WD9, 350 Gas, and 756 Diesel at various times. They have all since moved down the road and I got into Cub Cadets. At one time I had around 20 cadets and am now down to only seven. My Dad started collecting big tractors, and the bug bit. He still has roughly 20 or so big tractors both red and green.

My grand dad owns a Farmall 706 gas, and my great aunt owns a IH Farmall 140 with almost all of the attachments. Im looking for a good Farmall 460 if i can ever get the land to put it on.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
