Default 1420 wiring diagram

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1420? Mine won't start. I turn the key and nothing. I put 12v to the small lead on the solenoid and it cranks.
I know the safety switch in the seat is disconnected. I'm not sure if there's a safety switch on the brake. i bought the unit this fall, but haven't used it too much. i bought it for snowblowing. I saw the diagrams in the tech section, but didn't see one for 1420's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

Jim:

There are two different diagrams for this model. It will depend on the Chassis Serial Number. Please advise and I'll forward the correct diagram.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
