Default My first Cub Cadet...

that I brought home in my new truck. It is now a official cub hauler.

Picked this 102 up at an estate sale in non running condition.
It came with the original sales receipt and the brochures are in new condition. A deck, snowblower, chain's, and weights, plus some small parts and paint.
It only took 20 minutes to get it running, runs, charges, and drives.
Cluch was replaced by the PO, but it needs a little tweeking.
Needs a bath.
Not bad for $160.

Price was $1231.88
Included the tractor, deck, blower, chains, weights, and a Parker dump sweeper.
This is the 4th tractor I got from the same dealer in Allendale NJ.

Yes it is. I am happy with it. I drove it out to Ohio with a 2 axle trailer and filled it up with some cub parts and had no issues.

Good deal Lew...

It must've been a while since you hauled a Cub.... didn't you get that truck last year or two? You posted here about that truck.

The company running the sale told me the price, I did not think twice about it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
