Preparing for snow with the 1912 and 551.
Snow is forecast for Thursday here, so I’m getting ready. I am putting my 551 blower on the 1912, I’m hoping performance is ok with the smaller PTO. We’ll see. The belt seems good and tight. The question I have is I cannot seem to get the mounting bolt holes to line up to get a bolt in there. Are these absolutely necessary? I am not sure what to do to get them in. The blower hits the frame and won’t let the holes line up.

After I ran to my computer (iPhone) and cried wolf, I had an idea. I propped the front of the blower and put it down all the way, almost lifting the front of the tractor and tapped the main bracket with a hammer and it got close enough to get the bolts started. We’re good to go now,all I need is snow.

Hey.. at least ya got it ready now.. Better than trying to do it with 6 inches on the ground already
 BTDT.. Back in the day the older western setups with the cables were the pits. I love my new Western Pro Plus HD.. It basically hooks itself up!
