Default Weekend Yard Work.
I was out doing some spring yard clean up yesterday. Those pesky pine cones needed attention.

I am thinking in about 7-10 days, I will be mowing lawn for the first time this season here in Mid Michigan.

Time to inspect the 50C mower deck and get her ready.

I'm about to start mowing here in western PA as well. I have a few spot in my yard where the grass is getting high so it's time to get the 782 running and put the deck on. It's currently about 30° and we had flurries yesterday but it's supposed to be sunny and in the 70's all week.

Mowed last Thursday for the 5th time already this year. Grass is growing like weeds. I have weeds in my grass so maybe that is it. Have a great day.

We ran the 2072 and 1811 for over 1 1/2 hrs yesterday. Then I mowed with the Farmall Cub for at least another 1 1/2. I have at least that much more to do when I get a chance to put a bush hog on. Really have a little hay that needs cutting, but don't want to start that considering its past time to plant corn and--so muddy I'll be lucky to get in field by the end of the week (more rain on the way).

I also have an excessive amount of pine cones. Must vary year to year cause I don’t remember this many last year. I’ll be mowing in a week also.

Cut grass for the first time this past weekend though some areas were still wet. Before this past weekend, I have spent a few days on winter cleanup of branches and twigs and running 'em through shredder/chipper. This winter was a rough winter yet there was only one snow plowing.
