Never fails, as soon as a thread gets going, it gets closed. It's not like someone can get up in another's grill. And knock their lights out. It's a "discussion."
I've been on another forum, for example. The topic of the thread is, "Do you believe in God,Heaven or Hell?" It was started in 2014, and continues yet today. 18,606 views, and 606 posts. Sure, there are heated exchanges, many different views as you can imagine, but it's still going. And these members still post to each others threads, same guys that were going at it over on the other thread. BUT not here, someone/s must think there will be a physical confrontation or something. You almost know if a thread will last by the end of the first page. I'm over it, thanks for asking. ![]()

Todd:
This forum was started in March 2007 with the sole concept of talking, discussing, advising, and supplying information on "Cub Cadets", and only Cub Cadets, hence the name: www.onlycubcadets.net. It was never intended for a "bitch all" forum. Thus, the reason for the closing of the latest thread, in that it had NOTHING to do with Cub Cadets. Unfortunately, some threads have been closed when members get a little excited and things get out of hand. Now considering that of today's date (12/29/17 @ 6:15am), there have been 34,045 Threads. I have not counted, but I would venture to say that maybe a dozen threads of have been closed. Doing the math, this represents .0003524%. I don't think it takes an Einstein genius to see, that is a very small per centage. As with any forum, there will always be humans interacting with others. There is NEVER going to be Utopia where everyone gets along. After all, one of the greatest men to walk on the earth was Jesus Christ, and he couldn't please everyone and most people know what he endured. If Jesus couldn't please the masses, neither Me or Only Cub Cadets can. I try to do my best keep the forum going, civil, and on track. And if a thread gets closed, then so be it.

I get it Roland. "Only Cub Cadets", but, isn't the "General Talk" for most anything? Discussion?"
"The Owners, Administration, and Moderators, reserve the right to edit, move, amend, close or remove any posting, for any reason." I guess, there it is. BLACK and White... Good day.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
