Its headed that way on cars too. Some of the new cars you can't even check the level of engine oil or tranny fluid.
We have a Toyota Tacoma in the shop right now that had 2 windows broke out and the radio stolen. They did some body damage and cut the wiring harness in the dash. Radio, wiring harness, and other damage is gonna be around 10 grand! Yup, you read that right. Just the radio is $3800 bucks! The cost of things has gotten out of control. I see a day when you can only lease cars and tractors. You won't be able to buy them. Randy

The buying public could have the final say. Keep your old trucks and tractors running and refuse to purchase this new crap. No sales equals no profits and you know what all the mfg's are interested in ---- PROFIT.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
