Default H-42 U-joint
Thought I had asked about this before but can't find the results??
Clip below is from parts tree, I re-typed the part # and description just because the jpeg is a little rough. Apparently the whole unit circled sold as one, I thought it was just a normal u-joint but learned that it is a "pin & block" style? No needle bearings and can't be pressed apart as far as I can tell.
Does anyone have information on what to replace this with, really appreciate any help / ideas you might have.

Yes, the joint comes apart. It's a common u-joint. Take it out and to a parts store and they should be able to match it up (unless they're idiots).

Thanks Jonathan, I'll give that a go, but am I right that it doesn't have needle bearings? Just want to understand what I'm talking about when I take it in.

What is important to match up is the cap diameter and the assembled U joint width.

If the parts store doesn't have a clue, find another one that does.
