Scored a rough looking 1450 today.
Scored a rough looking 1450 today cause it had the CC sleeve hitch on it. It starts and runs moves forward and reverse and the hydro lift on the hitch works. Now....I don't know what to do. Should I swap the lift onto my 1200 and use it as a manual and part out the rest? Should I swap all the hydro stuff onto my 1200?? Should I use the 14hp as my first small rebuild and swap all onto my 1200? Why is life never simple? I would need a hydro console if I did swap the hydro onto my tractor as the 1450 console is shot out. Too many choices.

Congratulations on the 1450,
I don't know how old you are but i am to the age i really appreciate the hydraulics :biggrin2.gif: Why not just fix up the 1450, That way you have one with hydraulics and one with out  You can never have to many tractors

First I would have to explain to the wife how I have two CC. Then I would have to find ALL the sheet metal to make the 1450 any near respectable.

just put the rear lift stuff on the 1200 for now and park the 1450 in the back of the shed and slowly collect the parts you need to make her complete. thats what i'm doing with my 70 and 109

Here are the pics of the 1450 and a few of my somewhat home built hitch on my 1200. Now to study the plow manual and get some dirt turned. I am still unsure if I am gonna sell the 1450 or try to bring it back to respectable condition. After all, everything does work, it is just ugly as sin.

And just so you don't hurt her feelings, She's not "ugly as sin", she just has some character. I never complain about looks, and say "she runs like a champ, I just don't use her, because, Well look at her." Things always start going bad, when I say that. So just say that she's got some character.
And I'd say she's got a BUNCH. It's looking Good. It'd be nice to put those wheels on the Cub, Nice and smooth. It's "COOL" Thanks guys Cody

We call it " still in her work clothes" around here....
Nice Fergy.. Got a TO 20 myself, takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin" altho the cubs are starting to take over mowing duties as the grass is finally slowing down some. Someday maybe rat rod cubs will be popular, just think of it as being ahead of the curve. :biggrin2.gif:

Quietlines and narrow frames, mostly projects but I mow with a 1200 and have a 122 set up for pulls. Wandering the country bringing towers to wind farms everywhere, and bringing yellow stuff home to Texas. Also into flatfender jeeps.
