Default Some "new" stuff.

Got to meet a fellow member today and check out all his goodies. Ended up bringing home three Machines for what I thought was a good price. A sad 123 that I plan to fix up and eventualy put back I to service. A 105 parts machine that I wanted the rearend out of for a project I'm going to be starting soon. And a 106 that runs pretty well but smokes slightly which has a blown headgasket and needs a few very minor repairs with a 38 inch deck and 8.50 ags which is goi g to replace my 1450 as my go to machine. I did get a couple pics when I got home. Seems I can't just give up these narrow frames after tomorrow I will have six all together with 5 runners. Dont mind the trash pile been doing a bit of spring cleaning since the Temps have been pretty good lately

A good haul. I always enjoy looking at cubs and visiting with owners. An occasional purchase is always enjoyable also. I love the CubFest that are enjoyed by the Farmall Cub guys. When I get to go to one love meeting the other folks and looking at the machines. A little grease on the hands with friends is always good when it is stuff you don't have to get running right now.

i used to own that 105 and 123. I bought that 105 out by des moines. and the 123 down by keota. Just for your info the 123 hydro is just fine. just needed the normal play taken out of the linkage. The frame was hacked when i got it but i did have it running and driving.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
