Default Cub cadet 1450 With Several attachments

This is a Cub cadet 1450 Hydraulic lift I was told needs points and condenser to run. Should I buy it or what? I don't know much about the sprayer but I think it is cool. I wish someone could send me a link so I could find out more about the attachments like the rear blade and sprayer I am very curious to find out any information.

If I were you, I'd be getting a little more info then "needs points and condenser to run". Why is the air cleaner off? Does the carb need rebuilt? ISO mounts shot? Does the engine smoke?, use oil? I ALWAYS ask these questions if the seller does not bring these items up. Of course you want to hide the price because he is probably asking way too much. It's worth what you are willing to pay...my .02

How are we supposed to give you our opinion if you should buy or not if we don't know how much? Looks like some good stuff, but as others have said......we need to know more.

I've never really liked taking peoples word that all it needs is a $10 part and it will run great, if it were that easy why didn't they fix it? You just never know what your buying if it doesn't run. It could smoke badly or have a knock or not even run at all and with a hydro tractor there's no way of telling if the rear end works as it should. Unless there dirt cheap I try to stay away from tractors that don't run, there's just way to many possible problems.

Honestly I look at is as parts tractor. the attachments are why I am buying it. Ive never seen the sprayer. The rear blade is awesome and it has the 3pt hitch. The sprayer may be a pile of junk but the treasure is the rear blade hitch and tiller.

if its price accordingly then have at it, i was just cautioning you about buying a tractor that may or may not run based off the sellers word.

I read it this way. If you don't care about the condition of the tractor offer him to take the rest off his hands, and "if" the tractor only needs $10 worth of parts he can sell it as the tractor only.
I'm thinking like Olds said. If it was only points and condenser he would have fixed it and sold it running instead of not. Sounds like.....fishy

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
