Although I'm a die-hard 100 guy...
I welcomed myself to the Super club with the addition of a 2082 last night.
It's the later, more rounded pan, style with decent plastics and unfortunately no extra cool options like the front ports, rear pto or 3-point, but who cares. It's a super! It did come with a darn nice 60" deck which I cannot wait to use. First order of business: Rebuild the carb, change all fluids, and clean it up. Next: get a 451 mounted up Next: weigh it down and slap on some chains Next spring: Repair or reinforce the front grille to sturdy it up Add flares (if I can find em) Rebuild the deck spindles for good measure Without further ado, some pics:

Congratulations. Looks real nice. You may never want to use that 100 again after stepping up to a super.

If you are a die hard 100 guy, why not make it look like a 100??
 I am a die hard 149 guy!! BUT, I could not pass up a "free one", I just had to "adjust" its appearance!   Steel is better than plastic,,,,, ,,, mounting steel is less work than fixin' plastic!!
