Default My new Toy, a SGT Smoker!!!!!

Yesterday, i had a look at Ebay Advertisments, and i saw a Smoker. The Cub Cadets are yery rare here in Germany, and so i purchased it instantly.

Tractor is running, but the Power Steering leaks Oil and is not working. Got it with 50 inch Deck and Snow Blower. Side Panels are included, Grill is missing. Finally a Diesel, i searched it for a long Time. And the best...................., it was only a few Kilometers away from me, sometime, we must wait a long Time for a good Deal,

mfg Georg

I love the fact that there is a fan base of these tractors in Germany!!!

And with that blower, you should be able to tackle even the German winters with ease. Enjoy the new toy!

Georg, congrats on the super smoker. The box is pretty easy to rebuild. Get a kit from John Deere (part # AM107078) and I can email the rebuild manual to you in PDF or it may be on the site too. They were around $50 here. Here is a link to the one I rebuilt. Good luck.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
