Default GTX weight bracket

Does anyone know the part number for the rear weight bracket for the gtx 2000 series tractor. I ordered one but it is 1 inch to wide and the instructions look like it is for the older model 2000 tractors the part number I have is 190-307-100.

I do not see a rear weight bracket for a GTX2000 as an option. I'd say, they didn't make one.

Go to your dealer, and they can get it for you. I called about this item this past spring, and it was extremely expensive. I opted for cast iron wheel weights and mounted them on inside of wheels.

Could always get the Johnny Products electric sleeve hitch and buy the optional suitcase weight bracket for it. Kill 2 birds with one finely placed shot.

Thanks for the replies I already bought the suit case weights and the bracket from the dealer yes they are expensive. I would like the cub weight braket if available. Just thought I'd check to see if anyone had ordered a bracket and got the wrong one. If you go to cub cadet . Com and look up gtx 2000 and look under accessories the part number for the bracket is 190-307-100 and that's the one I have.

I did that. It does not come up as a listed option for that model. Mower deck, snow blowers and a blade. No weight bracket. It does not even list wheel weights as an option for either a 2012 or 2013 tractor. Either you are looking up the wrong model, or I am.

That "part number" is not a part number. It is a model number. If you look it up it is listed to fit a GT2000, not a GTX.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
