As some of you may know I just got home from my kidney transplant. So I have plenty of spare time on my hands. My wife is the best and helped me work on the 100 a little today. A couple weeks ago I got some AG tires off CL, but they had some over spray on them. I took some lacquer thinner and a mild wire brush, and about 20 minutes later per tire, they looked great.
![]() A before pic. ![]() After ![]() ![]() ![]() I also got a new steering wheel off ebay a couple weeks ago. I think it was $50 or so. My old one had missing pieces and was very chaulky. It would turn your hands black after only a minute or two of driving the tractor. ![]() New wheel ![]() And a full shot of the tractor just cuz. ![]() I just ordered some deestone 3 ribs for the front. When I get those on the 100 will look awesome. Then once I get my deck fixed, I'll have a sweet mowing machine. Brent |

Very nice but take it easy Bud, you don't want to screw something after the operation.

Good for you, ...and the wife too!
It's great to be able to add something to our tractors, to make them, "just a little better", and also personal. Also, from someone that's had congestive heart failure, it's wonderful to be able, to just "putter" at what we like so well!

I hear ya Sam, I'm taking it easy. Really just walking around. I can only sit in front of the TV so long. And nobody is really on OCC in the middle of the day, so I gotta do something.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
