Found Another Goodie.....
Just got home with another Cub. I've known about this on for a while and last week the owner called and wanted rid of it. It's pretty clean and has some good options, hubcaps, dual hydraulics and very rare power assist steering.
It needs some TLC but considering it's a 782D it will be well cared for.

Power assist is a option that was offered on the early 82 series Cubs. It consists of a hydraulic cylinder with valving that was activated when the steering linkage from the steering gear was moved either forward or backward to make the front wheels turn right or left. The cylinder is mounted under the frame and is parallel with the frame.
I'll get some pictures of how it is mounted. It's my understanding that the power assist option is very rare.

Good looking 782D. That is very interesting. I have never heard of power assisted steering. Was it a dealer installed option and was it only on the diesels?
