Default Did it again, ANOTHER diesel

As you all know, I can't resist a fuel burner Picked this 1772 up local, right in town in fact. It belonged to the owners father and overall it's in really decent shape, I have the side panels ( great shape) and the 50" deck (a little rough). It runs and starts great, in fact it seems more powerful than the 1782s. Here's a few pics.

Thats a good looking Super !!

I haven't seen or heard of a Super for sale in the past couple of years . I bought 6 over a year and a half span couple years back . I'm guessing the OCC members are scooping them all up !

Nice find.

I have only seen 1 in my neck of the woods, I stopped by & talked to the gentleman for a few minutes & asked if he'd ever sell it? He replied with a possibility if he ever moved & wouldn't need it anymore. So I scribbled my phone number on his workshop wall ( with his okay) & been since waiting.
That was 2 years ago. but I'm patient

NIK,

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
