There's a pic of my model 70 in the "Lets see your cub" thread but I'll try to post another here.

This is going to be my first complete tractor restoration as soon as my shop is set up a bit.

I'm pretty sure they would of come with a deck. I see merk has his with the mower deck's mule drive so yes it would of had a deck. They would of powered a tiller or snow blower as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong though please.

The tractor was sold by itself, and any/all attachments were extra money. Being a garden tractor and not a lawn mower, they didn't 'come with' any particular attachment like a lawn tractor does. The decks are the most common though...something like 95% of tractors probably came with a deck, or at least that's how it seems from the ones I've bought.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
