Solid tractor. I just brought one home for $350 without the hydraulic pump. I think your not far off on the $400. Especially if the rest of it checks out pretty good. $300 would be better

I think that's an ok price considering the hard to find hydraulic lift option and headlights. You never know why it's not running but I would take a chance on it

hello all!
I have recently found an old 127 cub and was wondering if someone could give me a value. The tractor was running when it was put in the shed (like 5 years ago I think). I don't think it has head lights or a hydraulic pump. It has a 44" inch deck and a small amount of surface rust. I am thinking that it is about a $300 dollar tractor. I will try to get a picture to post later. thanks. |

First,
. Second, this thread is an older thread that you have piggy backed onto. We have a section in the forum devoted to asking, "What is it worth?" here:http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=61 Third, it sounds like a nice find that you have there. A cub is worth, like anything else, whatever someone is willing to pay. Take inventory of your finances and needs and go get it if you want. The 127 is a very capable tractor and will serve you well. Looking forward to seeing more from you in the forum and some pics of your first cub cadet!! MODS: PLEASE CLEAN THESE POSTS UP AND MOVE TO "WHAT'S IT WORTH?" SECTION. Thanks!!! Cub Cadet 123

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
